What I collect, and why.

This site is run by Aaron Abercrombie. Here is everything it stores about you.

When you ask for lesson materials

Your name and email address, which lesson you asked for, and when. That is how the materials get to you and how I know what you have already received. If you tick the box, I will also email you when a new lesson goes up. You can reply to any email to stop.

When you apply for lessons

Your name, email, experience, years playing, what you want to work on, and optionally a link to you playing and your Discord username. I use these to decide whether we are a fit and to run the call. Booking a lesson adds the time you picked, your time zone, and a record of payment.

Google Calendar

The studio side of this site connects to my own Google Calendar to check when I am free and to create lesson events. It never reads or writes a student's calendar. If a lesson is confirmed, you receive a normal calendar invitation to the email you gave.

Who else sees it

Email is sent through Resend. Records live in Supabase. Lesson videos and files are hosted by Sanity and YouTube. None of them are given your information for their own use, and I never sell or share it.
