I’m an ex-pro guitarist, and I teach one-on-one virtual lessons for players who have been at it a while. Most guitarists reach a point where the shapes are familiar, the songs are learned, and everything starts to sound the same. Helping someone hear their way past that is my favorite part of teaching.

I spent my twenties playing and teaching for a living: jazz guitar with 3 West Productions, and lessons at Tone Tailors, the guitar shop on the Rock Lititz Campus, the world’s largest tour production facility. Today I live in Florida and lead marketing for Entertainment Technology Partners, the group behind LMG, LMG Touring, EventEQ, Pixl Evolution, Systems Innovation, and the CoiL Learning Center. It’s a different seat in the same world, and I still spend my days around the people who make live shows happen.

Guitar came first, at five years old, and it stayed my main instrument through a Bachelor of Music in Music Recording Technology at Lebanon Valley College. Drums, piano, and ukulele followed along the way. If you’re feeling stuck, I’d love to hear what you’re working on.
